Getting to know Webaholics
Webaholics is made up of a team. Like any team, it’s the players that make it unique.
This week on our blog, we spotlight Steve Light. Steve joined the Webaholics team in the fall of 2017. While he is often quiet, he has a quick wit and clever sense of humor, which is much appreciated in the office. We are excited to have his experience on our team.
California Native
Steve grew up in San Bernadino, CA. After he graduated from high school, his parents strongly encouraged him to attend school out of state.
Steve considered schools in both Utah and Arizona but ultimately settled on Neumont College of Computer Science in Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated in 2015 and has been working in his field since.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Webdesign and Web development. Steve has called Utah home for the past seven years.
Despite the fact that he doesn’t care for the snow in Utah, he found that the people that he met and made friends, with outweighed his negative feelings towards the winter weather.
Game Master and Chef
When he’s not in the office, Steve enjoys playing video games. Some of his favorites are: Crash Bandicoot and Fortnite-Battle Royale. He is a Game Master for Pathfinder, which is a Dungeons and Dragons style game. He enjoys making up tracks for the other players.
Steve loves to cook. He enjoys making Mexican and Italian food. He is an expert at making chicken tinga.
Steve loves to drive. When he was young, he made a goal to own a Mustang. He is now the proud owner of a canary yellow Mustang!
Lead Developer
Steve is the Lead Developer here at Webaholics. He is a full stack developer and writes code for both the front end and the back end. He is a project manager and works on websites and web apps.
He is currently working on a dashboard app called One App and has also built secure vaults for MyndVault. He is great at managing his time and knocking out the projects that he is given. Steve is a great asset to the Webaholics team and we are privileged to have him with us.
If you would like to learn more about Steve, his web design, development skill, and projects he has worked on, give us a call at (801) 432-0676, or shoot us an email at info@webaholics.co.
